360/VR time-lapse footage created with a 4 camera rig at Arches National Park in Moab, Utah. Brandon McCoy's acoustic instrumental 'Reverie' accompanies the video. 5 scenes featuring 4 Arches, Delicate Arch, Landscape Arch, Double Arch(x2), and Turret Arch. I visited Arches in the springtime as the Milky Way was rising in the east.

Arches National Park was an amazing place to experiment with my multiple camera rig. The sandstone arches sculpted over millions of years paired with our Milky Way galaxy that spans more than 100,000 light years seemed to make sense to me. Loved being able to see the Milky Way rise on the desert horizon and the cameras were able to capture the entire sky and the landscape.

As a photographer, I created these 360 scenes for still images and eventually a time-lapse video Planetary Panoramas 4k. To my surprise virtual reality headsets like the Samsung Gear VR and HTC Vive became availbe to the masses. I began to explore the different aspects of VR and fell in love with the technology. I reworked much of my 360 content to be able to view in 360 video players and VR headsets. I learned a lot of different editing techniques but final product may be far from perfect. I'm very much hoping to get back out the door soon and create more 360 content with a fresh mindset.
